Salary: £18,000 + (based on experience)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an energetic and enthusiastic person to become the full-time Campaigns Organiser for Stockport Liberal Democrats, assisting teams in the formerly held seats of Cheadle and Hazel Grove as well as Stockport Constituency.
With both Manchester City centre on the doorstep and good transport links with the rest of North West, this is the ideal position for someone looking to get more insight into political campaigning.
The successful candidate will work with us to prepare for our local elections in May 2018 and ideally towards Greater Manchester in the Mayoral contest.
The main tasks include organising voter contact and recruiting, retaining and organising volunteers to support local campaigning across Stockport although some knowledge of art working would also be useful.
The post is offered on an initial fixed term contract until May 2018. The successful candidate could start now or after the May 2017 elections for an exceptional candidate.
